ONE-TWO JUICE

 

One-Two Juice is a green smoothies bar that is managed by individuals with learning disabilities. The smoothies bar was set up by Selangor Dredging Berhad in 2011 as a part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme. 

 

The aim of this juice bar is to provide such individuals with the opportunity to learn how to manage a small business independently while earning some money. We believe that the ability to earn some money, no matter how smal the amount, will instill a sense of self-confidence in each of them. 

 

The juice bar currently employes 4 full time and 6 part time staff, 7 of whom have learning disabilities. The juice stall is situated in Wisma SDB, Jalan Ampang and also has a van to cope with the deliveries to various locations, as well as a mobile srvice at University Malaya.

 

This project has been funded by SDB and the proceeds from the juice bar business goes to D&S.
